Our family-run boutique hotel has been completely renovated and reopened in new splendor in 2011. An exquisite encounter of the tradition and the modern: outside you are greeted by a typical Salzburg farmhouse, the interior on the other hand offers our guests all the modern conveniences you would expect from a contemporary bed and breakfast hotel while maintaining its very own Essigmanngut character and flair. The hotel lies on the outskirts of the City of Salzburg which is famous for its Festivals and its trade fairs. Enjoy a holiday surrounded by countryside yet just a stone’s throw away (approx. 15 min.) from the unrivalled culture of the Mozart City.

We offer our guests comfortable and spacious rooms, studios and self-catering apartments with a kitchenette for preparing small meals and snacks. Most of the rooms, studios and apartments have a terrace or balcony and there is a lovely hotel garden with sunbathing lawns for our guests to enjoy. The apartments accommodate up to 7 people.

Here at the Essigmanngut there is no extra charge for the wide range of services and facilities we offer, so the price stated is the price you pay; there are no hidden extras and no unpleasant surprises at the end of your stay! Free internet access (WiFi), SKY-TV and tea and coffee making facilities are provided in all our rooms, studios and apartments. Bed linen and towels are also included in the room price as well as a tasty and varied breakfast buffet for a true Essigmanngut start to the day!   

In addition, a FREE parking space right next to the hotel has been allocated to each room, studio and apartment. The nearest bus stop (bus route 25) is just 200m away enabling you to negotiate the 5 km journey into the city quickly and easily. Close by the hotel are a number of famous sights such as Hellbrunn Palace, Salzburg Zoo, Untersberg Mountain, the University Sports Center Salzburg/Rif, Salzburg’s trade fair center “Messe Salzburg”, the Salt Mines in Hallein, the Red Bull soccer stadium and the famous Alpine town of Berchtesgaden in neighboring Bavaria.  

All of Salzburg’s most famous sights and places of interest can be reached within 10 – 20 minutes. The Boutique Hotel & Apartments Am Essigmanngut is easy to reach, just off the A10 Freeway.
